A picture is often worth a thousand words, especially if the words you are trying to convey are complex. I offer several services to help you convert science into art.

Graphic facilitation

Also known as sketchnoting or scribing, graphic facilitation is the art of turning a talk, discussion, or meeting into a visual recording that can be disseminated as needed, or serve as a teaching or learning tool.

What I Can Do For You:

  • Attend your conference and record the sessions
  • Sketch lectures and lab meetings
  • Synthesize the ideas discussed at a meeting into coherent notes
  • Give you a digital copy for use after the event

I am proficient both with digital illustration (primarily using Adobe Illustrator) and working by hand, generally using markers. While I have no professional artistic training, I am experienced in converting scientific concepts into clear and visually arresting images.

What I Can Do For You:

  • Generate figures for academic publication
  • Help create book illustrations
  • Provide custom pictures for your blog or website
